Junxin(MVP)...well 4-7 very own fabregas...always managed to deliver accurate passing dat assist alot of time...another reason we reach final with his amzaing work-rate n assist rate...worthy of d title MVP..often help out in defend...n launch a quick lightning counter attack..!! Jason(Dog of d yer)-another consistent player...however lost his cool during today game...but nvm his brilliant catch did brought us to d final...BUT cant link with adrian well enuff...shld hab been a lone striker..!!lik fernando torres!!! MR NG post was great ! so after reading mine pls read his . =D I noe all u ppl feel emotional , and sad and mixed feelings . But today , all of u were MVPs(Most Valuable Player) u guys were winners =D , its good to feel sad after a lost , tats means u care for the game , and being able to accept defeat is another thing , tats wat a great player is made for ! =P . Lastly i would lyk to thank alot of ppl la . Frisbee WARRIORs : Matthew , Jason , Adrian , Kengti , Weiyang , Bryan , Lutfil , Rayton , Han siang , U guys were great throughout the competiton . Frisbee aftermath (THIS IS A LONG POST ZOMG IT'S SO LONG)
Salut.
First, I'd like to say it's kinda nice to know that OTHER people from OTHER classes have been visiting this kick ass blog.
After 1135am today, many people were asking me, "So cher, what are you gonna post in your blog now?"
Inner feelings can never be expressed in words. But let's give it a go anyway.
Well, first I'd like to congratulate 5-2 (if there are any of them reading this) for winning the 2008 interclass frisbee tournament (or whatever official name it's called). Well done. All of you worked hard, showed nerves of steel, and never gave up and did excellently to gain that sudden-death point.
I'd like to congratulate 4-7 for making the final. Like I said in class, if there weren't you guys, we would have never made the final anyway. We'd have been by the side watching other classes play. But because of you guys, you gave us the opportunity to be playing with you, even though we were sitting on the floor. We played with you in our hearts. Every time the frisbee flew in, we jumped in our hearts; we tried to catch it with our hearts.
Hmm that was kinda 肉麻 hor (mushy).
BUT IT'S TRUE! (4-7 doesn't like me to shout, so I'll shout in the blog.)
AS THE GIRLS PUT IT SO WONDERFULLY, YOU HAVE GAINED OUR RESPECT!

We lost because we were complacent. We did extremely well to lead, but we got too excited, and we didn't defend well. There is no point blaming others, or blaming the referee. Mr Low did great as a referee, and you all shouldn't doubt his judgement. He has only one pair of eyes, and it's impossible to see everything. I've mentioned; this is a true reflection of life. Not everything will be smooth. During basketball, people tug at others' shirts; players tug at one another's clothes during a corner kick, and so on. Not all infringements will be detected. But do we want to do that? Some of us don't. Some of us think that it's part and parcel of the game; as long as the referee doesn't see it, it's fine. You decide what you want to be.
In an earlier post, I mentioned how everybody remembers champions, and nobody remembers runner-ups. I wouldn't go back on my word just because you all lost, BUT, erm... I will now show off my ability to play with words by showing you the following equation:
There are rich and famous people. And there are people like me, who are nobodies. I am a nobody.
Nobody remembers runner-ups. Thus, I remember runner-ups.

I will remember you all because you had shown me courage and dedication. I have learnt something new from you all today. *takes some tissues* If I had taken a video, I'd have made it into a youtube video ala the Michael Jordan one I showed you all. I would have taken the scenes immediately after the game, where you all were so depressed, as well as the scenes in class, where you all were inconsolable. This is what makes sports so emotional, and so great, and what losing something that is important means.
Runner-ups means there is only one more stop to the championship medal. Heroes have the ability to rise after they fall. Pick yourselves up, and fight on. Learn from experience why you lost, and pick out skills to improve not just in frisbee, but in every endeavour that you undertake.
All of you - as a class - have demonstrated the ability to fly. I think all of you already know that before my lesson two days ago on Tuesday. I am so very proud of each and every one of you.
Lastly, because someone (I wouldn't mention names, but HIS name has four letters and starts with the same letter as the 11th month of the year) keeps mentioning about this,

In less than 48 hours’ you will be in the Frisbee final, where you will be facing 5-2.
Most of you –playing or non-playing- are very excited about this, and of course you should be.
Recently, I’ve become a huge fan of this class (probably by default since I’m the form teacher). I’ve watched you guys play a couple of times, and if nobody has ever told you this, or that if your brains are cramped with equations, formulae and impacts of erm, globalisation, then let me tell you, that you all are good.
I like a relationship to be honest. You’ve all heard of the clichés, that you take part to have fun, to relax, and in the spirit of the Olympics, that participation is already an honour, but let me ask you a question:
Did you come all the way into the final to lose?
You have challenged your opponents each time, fought hard, helped your teammates up when they are physically down, cheered one another on to battle against them.
You have challenged yourselves each time, running fast even though you’re tired, jumping high even when you’re more tired, not being intimidated when your opponents might be bigger and stronger and fiercer looking.
You have come to the final to win.
You are going to win because you are good. Speed, height, fitness, finesse, skill, stamina, patience – the list is not exhaustive – you have them.
You are going to win because the support you have is wonderful. On Thursday the neighbours of CCK will complain because our cheering (or rather I wouldn’t be screaming, but your classmates will =x) will be so loud.
For some of you, you will be nervous. Nervous is good. Nervous means this is important to you, either because you want to impress your schoolmates watching by the side, or you want to win this for Miss Tan (which I’ve gathered from hearsay; unreliable source), or for whatever other reason; nervous means you don’t want to mess this up. Some of you *touch wood* will make mistakes, but it is how you bounce back from these mistakes, how you support one another to cross this finishing line…
As a winner of the 2008 inter-class Frisbee tournament.
So go out there and enjoy yourselves. Run, jump, catch, throw, sprint, shout, scream, scold, encourage, support, and at the end of it you guys are still classmates of the awesome class of 4-7.

Less than a hundred days to 'O' Levels. Everyone is busy preparing for it. But as a class,I hope we can help one another out. Those who are good in maths can help the weaker ones and those who are good in POA can help the weaker ones as well.It does not have to be that we are friends to help one another out. We are for a fact,in the same class.Which makes us classmates which makes us friends. We have been in the same class for a year and a hald now.

Announcements: 1) I seem to infer from the tagboard that some of you are impersonating others. While I repeat that I really don't mind you guys writing or discussing anything under the sun in the class tagboard, I really hope you use your real names, or use a nickname that people can associate you with. People get very frustrated if you impersonate others. (Maybe it's just me this old man who gets frustrated, so I appeal to your kindness to compromise with me, pretty please?
2) I've sent out emails to all of you. A couple of you did not fill in your email addresses. I don't know what happened. Again, please post constructively, and not destroy the fun of a blog.
3) Examinations are coming! Remember the little poem I've given to all of you. Make use of your time wisely!

But to link it to Adrian's point on skiving:
When students blog or come tag, does it mean they are lazy, skiving students? No, because they study hard and play hard. I'm sure they read, revise, do homework, do additional homework, and they also rest. They rest by watching tv, play psp, play bball, chat online etc.
It's the same for teachers. Teachers (WHO ARE HUMAN BEINGS) also rest by watching tv, going out, play sports, chat, blog etc.
So it doesn't mean that I'm skiving lah! Though I do admit I procrastinate once in awhile.
There's so many tags I don't know where to start. Hi everyone for coming here, even to the person who voted 1 in the poll *sob*, welcome! Please pass this blog to the rest of your classmates, as you have learnt in globalisation, information transmission is very fast nowadays.
Also, I generalise from students' blogs that students usually don't like to post comments. They just like to bombard the tagboard. I'm fine as long as it's not really spam or rubbish from impersonators, but the comment option is useful, as I can see all your comments at one glance.

Great job everyone! Including THOSE PEOPLE WHO SHOUTED AND CHEERED VERY LOUDLY AND ALMOST DEAFENED MY LEFT EAR.
Incidentally, today is also the most embarassing day of my life for quite some time. That's because I played basketball and got blocked (REJECTED!!!!) by Jason 3 times! Darn it!
But seriously, it was really fun playing and hanging out with you guys. Thanks for not minding playing with an old man like me.
